Cory Hepola has a house and figures he should add a deck, but why isn’t the process the same as it is on those reality TV shows? Andy Lindus tells Cory how those shows misrepresent the home improvement industry, while also detailing how to know if your roof needs to be repaired and when it makes sense to call a handyman service or a general contractor.

"Lindus Construction was great for the very beginning. Starting with the salesman, the design crew, the rough-in construction and the final construction. Everyone was easy to work with, they answered all of our questions. They also let us know weekly what the plan was and what they wanted to accomplish. We would recommend them to anybody and I do recommend them. Thanks Lindus!"

We've used Lindus on 4 construction projects over the years, starting with residing our 100-year-old home along with an extensive addition about 30 years ago. It still looks great. A few years later we had them build a 26' X 40' foot unattached garage to store our stuff. Had them put LeafGuard® on the 2nd story so didn't have to clean the gutters due to all the trees around the house. Got tired of cleaning out the 1st floor gutters so had LeafGuard® put on them as well. No more ladders - Yes! Lastly, we had them put a new basement under the old part of the house to solve the damp basement. They did excellent job on a very difficult project. Very happy with the end result. Only had to spend 1 night away from home during that construction project."

"Tyler was exceptional. He explained what he would be doing and patiently answered our questions. He provided an honest opinion of what was needed and what he felt wasn't needed. I appreciated his honesty as many companies just try to sell services that aren't necessary. Lindus has worked for us previously and I've been very impressed with their employees and their products."

"We’ve used Lindus on, I think, for four projects. All the way from scheduling and appointment to inspection/evaluate some situation to project completion. Looking for a quick/cheap solution, good luck on that. You will not regret hiring Lindus to do a home project, no matter the scope. Lindus has a long family history in the area of home improvement."

"We had Charlie and Scott handle our basement project and couldn't be more happy. They allowed us to choose options for what they would do for us while we took on some work ourselves. They both made sure the job and quality were exceptional."

"I signed another contract with Lindus Construction — this time to spray foam and fully seal my attic, followed by an additional top layer of insulation. This is not a simple job. My home has a very complex Unico high-velocity air conditioning system running throughout the attic, and Lindus still took it on without hesitation."
